Prince of Peckham: 1 Clayton Rd, London SE15 5JA
2025-08-02
NGN48.00
Join us for another exciting culinary journey through Peckham, starting at 12:45 PM at the Prince of Peckham Pub, where Mr. Efosa will give a warm welcome and a quick overview of the tour. The first stop will be in Peckham Square, where you’ll dive into crispy Akara fritters made from black-eyed beans and red onions, along with a tasting of Suya if the weather allows.
Next, we’ll explore local shops to discover the unique spices and ingredients that bring Nigerian cuisine to life. After that, we’ll visit a classic Mama Put vendor for some soft and sweet Agege Bread, a staple of Nigerian street food, and learn about its cultural significance.
Our journey continues with a spicy stop at the Suya Pit, where you’ll taste smoky grilled beef spiced to perfection. From there, we’ll head to Lolake Restaurant, a spot with over 35 years of heritage, where you can enjoy authentic Nigerian comfort food served in the traditional style—by hand.
Finally, we’ll wrap up the tour at Flygerians, where two sisters are redefining Nigerian desserts. You’ll get to taste their famous Chin Chin Cheesecake and Banoffee Pie, the perfect sweet end to a flavour-packed experience.
